Genesis Three Sides Live
Voto:
The review is comprehensive and vaguely naive (the jab at the critics hits the mark, by the way), but, if you allow me, I consider this live performance a real letdown: bloated, indifferent, bored (and therefore boring), the Genesis wearily replicate their hits trying to satisfy not the long-gone old fans, but the new ones: where once you would listen in reverent silence to a masterpiece like "Foxtrot," now there’s freedom of movement and dancing. From progressive to pop-dance: truly an inglorious end... The single is "Paperlate," and that says it all...

Of course, the 5 was ironic, the comment too.

Counter, just keep counting. But you talk without knowing things: if you're a fool, it's not my fault, DIMWIT.

A couple? Now let me list them all: "Sheik Yerbouti" Frank Zappa, "Ligabue" Ligabue, "Non siamo mica gli americani" Vasco Rossi, "Days Like This" Van Morrison, "Alberto Fortis" self-titled, "Blonde on Blonde" Bob Dylan, "Sticky Fingers" Rolling Stones. Do they seem like a couple to you? Then, chapter two, reviews considered insufficient by DeBaser users are the following (if you don't believe me, go check): "Così com'è" Articolo 31, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" Beatles (a provocation, by the way); "Devils & Dust" Bruce Springsteen; "Vol.3" Fabrizio De André; "Leali Live" Fausto Leali; "Alice non lo sa" Francesco De Gregori; "Mix" and "Scacchi e tarocchi" Francesco De Gregori; "Il fischio del vapore" De Gregori-Marini; "Album concerto" Guccini-Nomadi (commented, among other things, by a series of anonymous idiots who said nothing about the album but only talked about politics); "Paris Milonga" Paolo Conte; "The Works" Queen; "Let It Bleed" Rolling Stones; "The Velvet Underground & Nico" Velvet Underground. So, doing the math, there are 14 reviews deemed insufficient, out of a total (listen carefully) of 66. Now, if mathematics is not an opinion (but perhaps it is for you?), the exact half of 66 is 33. From 14 to 33, if you allow me, there's quite a distance: as you can see, your theses don’t hold up. And also, it's not true that I (in response to the Counter of Human Cases) always slam other people's reviews: go read my comments, you will see how many times I've given 4 or 5 to well-written reviews that I liked. It’s convenient to say, "you slam reviews" only looking at when I give 1 or 2: what about the other times? Should we conveniently forget those?

DeBaser can't stand me, and almost every one of my reviews is among those chosen by the editors. It seems it's ONLY YOU AND A FEW OTHERS who can't see me.

My Generation, Dead There, two for the price of one. But you still haven't answered me: BUT IF YOU CAN NO LONGER SUFFER, WHAT THE HELL DO I CARE?

Sorry Morta Lì, did I ever say that Ligabue, Vasco Rossi, and Articolo 31 are talented? At most, I said they've made a nice record in their entire career. But then talking to you is a waste of time, and if you have it in for me, explain one thing: why the hell should I care? Should I stay silent to do you and DeBaser a favor? One more thing, why should I do you and DeBaser a favor?

Paolo Meneguzzi, a talented Italian artist? Well, if by talented you mean: a) having performed on the Sanremo stage; b) possessing a very good percentage of young girls who cheer for you from morning till night just to get your autograph; c) being an idol of Radio Italia Solo Musica Italiana; d) being good-looking but not too flashy. If you mean this by talented, then yes, indeed Paolo Meneguzzi is talented.
Phil Collins Face Value
Voto:
Let’s say it without shame: Phil Collins without Genesis was worth very little, and vice versa. And even "Face Value" is no exception: basically flat, without sparks or surprises, except for a few melodic pop flashes ("In the Air Tonight"). A short but absolutely comprehensive review.
