Can Monster Movie
Voto:
Nice, cute, if we want to call it innovative as well, but not exceptional or thrilling ("Tago Mago" was truly a masterpiece). This time, Lewis, you've made the mistake of overrating an album that is neither that original nor that essential. Still, the excellent "You Doo Right" sticks in the mind from the very first listen.
Crosby, Stills & Nash Crosby, Stills & Nash
Voto:
First album by three gentlemen who perfectly blended rock, folk, and beat. Memorable tracks like "Wooden Ships" and "Long Time Gone," and a stunning folk rock suite "Judy Blue Eyes." From here, the California scene would draw extensively from this new life and new energy. However, Crosby, Stills, and Nash certainly have more beautiful works (at least from a purely technical standpoint), such as "Deja Vu" (1970), "Four Way Street" (1971), and some celebratory anthologies, the most beautiful, complete, and famous being the one from 1991, made up of 4 CDs. Anyway, Lloyd, nice mention, but the review is a bit too sparse and concise.
The Beatles Yellow Submarine
Voto:
Well, let's not exaggerate, after all it's just a soundtrack. It's a fun psychedelic parable, to be honest, a bit superfluous. Of course, compared to "Abbey Road" or the "White Album," it seems like a simple visionary experiment with no real purpose. Only for collectors or curious music lovers.

Well, mystery...
The Kinks Arthur
Voto:
Beautiful, I would dare say beautiful. It may not belong to the best repertoire of the Kinks, but it is undoubtedly a good album. Honestly, it is even slightly superior to the previous "The Village Green Preservation Society."
Pentangle Basket Of Light
Voto:
Look, Fusillo, I'm not exactly fond of you, but I'm not so much against you either. However, I must confess that the review, although a bit long, is really very beautiful, and the album in question is an unprecedented masterpiece (I literally go crazy for "Sally go round the roses" and "House Carpenter"), so all I can do is commend you. Anyway, the Castle reissue from 2001, with 4 extra tracks (never bought, just listened to), is a rare gem. In my opinion, the Pentangle reached their peak here and then stopped. A judgment, as always, more than debatable.
Gato Barbieri The Third World
Voto:
I don't know the album in question, but here you've forgotten (or maybe no one knows?) that Gato Barbieri was that genius who composed the soundtrack for a cult classic in film history, the scandalous "Last Tango in Paris" (1972). A necessary remembrance.
Big Brother & The Holding Company feat. Janis Joplin Cheap Thrills
Voto:
Yes, yes, I agree: masterpiece. "Pearl" is no joke either.
The Electric Prunes Mass In F Minor
Voto:
Never heard anyone mention it. And then it’s all copied from Scaruffi, come on, shamelessly without any shame. I don’t trust Scaruffi; if he says the album is good, it smells a bit like a scam to me.
Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland

Excellent.
