I've always given this group distracted listens.. they've never captured me.. but maybe I'll catch up on them.. I know they've done a big tour in South America and worked really hard over there.

Nobody will give a damn, but since I'm from Vigevano, I'm glad it made it to Debaser through this review/report! Olé!

No, absolutely not for the record.. I don't know it, I've never listened to it.. and it's not a criticism.. just an observation.. as a layperson, I don't understand what is technical in the electro.. in Distance, mentioned by me again only because I listened to it yesterday, where is the technique?? To me, it sounds like loops repeated for 5 minutes, but I don't want to be critical, my opinion is simply that of a layperson.. I don't hear technique in Prodigy or Chemical Brothers (to name ultra famous ensembles), because I have a conception of technique dictated by rock/metal/noise listening.. I'm not saying it doesn't exist.. but for my conception... I still don't enjoy these sounds enough to listen to them on the stereo.. live I see something.. but sporadically.. and strictly drum'n'bass.. as far as I know, Milan doesn't offer much more.

I didn't mean to say that... but for my perception of music, being used to rock in all its forms, I find it hard to grasp what's technical in a world I'm not familiar with... don't you think?

Come on, is everything so dreary?? I gladly read reviews like this one or yours on Distance, for example.. and I listened to the tracks on MySpace.. and although I find the proposal interesting, I'm not used to tracks that, to my ears, while interesting, ultimately end up feeling stale and always the same.. to tell you, I would very much like to see Distance live, but I would never buy one of his albums... unfortunately, it’s a matter of background, habits, expectations; I often like to hear some "technique," electronic music in its entirety doesn’t give me that sensation, I'm an amateur, as you know.. (apart from certain Drum'n'bass from London DJs that I saw in Milan this winter.. electrifying..)

personal (useless) curiosity: but how come Riccardo's vote doesn't count and is therefore considered invalid... it's a bullshit but I don't understand...
