I agree with Regular that it’s radio-friendly, but that’s not necessarily a flaw. I have it because when it came out I was curious to hear new material recorded by my quintessential singer, and it didn’t disappoint me. After all, it’s an album that you can listen to; not memorable, but with a hint of soul beneath it. Out of Exile, on the other hand, is just a bunch of nonsense.

The album halfway through is unfortunately boring.. as far as I remember, the resemblance between Slipknot and Korn isn’t that strong, but I haven't listened to it in a while so... lyrics are interesting at times.. the following album "the house of secret," do you know it? It feels much more brutal (and, to be fair, more boring) vaguely reminiscent of "bolod as been shed."

you fixate on that line from the b sides, probably not having read it even well in its context: far beyond metal diminishes the entire album because it's not as fresh as the others, that's all. I won’t express myself on the townsend band because I’m not well-prepared on the subject (I haven’t listened to any albums in full)... mmmhh... third, I'm sorry but you don’t convince me... a transitional album isn’t necessarily bad, but as you say, "you can already hear the new ideas..." something else is filler... like in a classic transitional album... that’s all.

third but I don't think anyone here wants a copy of Alien or City. If you read the review, you know I admit there are songs that add different elements compared to the previous albums... but: 1) you yourself admit it's a transitional album and honestly, 4 for a transitional album seems too much 2) I can understand the Townsend perspective as you explained it, but I'm sure if we were talking about any other band releasing an album about a year after the previous one, we would have already crapped on it... just impressions, you know.

Guys, I don't know, I found it a bit like a fallback, I can't explain it better, a jumble of ideas thrown together more out of obligation than inspiration... and then it smells like it came out only a year after Alien... still an enjoyable album in the end, but not memorable.

"In 2000, Eminem and Fred Durst were friends, so I don't think there could be a feud between them. And anyway, if there were, F. Durst would tear the Detroit rapper to shreds. Let's just say you're a bit biased... ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... come on, give me the Gallagher quote ----> so du coioni... you also seem a bit biased to me..."

It's an album... that I could describe as challenging in comparison to the previous two, rich in experimentation and pathos, with a sound that more than vaguely takes me back to the "somewhere in time" and "seventh son of a seventh son" period. At this point in the sentence, I stopped reading the review...

But damn it, I don’t know if you listen to music just to tell your friends when you’re sitting at the pub that you listen to super technical stuff or to feel something that gives you goosebumps... or pumps you full of adrenaline... in one word, EMOTIONS: I belong to this group... I don't set limits for myself... and lately there hasn’t been a damn thing that intrigues me... I thank Tool for their 10,000 days and the fun of 36 Crazyfists... but even this year is poor in emotions... enough with the blinders... let’s stop classifying, LET’S LISTEN to music... while waiting for something original, I keep listening to my Tool and Meshuggah... and if I want energy, I go for the first album by System or City by Strapping, otherwise I fall back on Soundgarden if I want to feel something... actually, now I’m going to listen to The Eraser by Tom Yorke, which I got as a gift yesterday.
