Don’t forget that ten years ago Cipri and Maresco revealed a shocking and not-so-allegorical fresco of Sicilian reality... that film (Totò che visse due volte) explains even more than Gomorra what Italy has become today... There’s not just a reason to be ashamed, there’s a reason to bow one’s head and pretend not to exist in a country like this. I've been repeating this for years; I’ve never felt like a citizen, much less an Italian citizen. Gomorra is the best Italian film of the last ten years (after Totò che visse due volte, of course).

According to Poletti, Vellutogrigio is an abominable being, and then to say that this film has no mystery...hahahah, and what's with all the moment with Spacey locked in the van talking deliriously with Freeman and Pitt about a surprise coming soon, and the ending with the box... if this isn't mystery (and what the hell Bava Argento has to do with it is completely unclear). In short, Vellutogrigio confirms himself as one of the biggest fools in the history of Debaser... and then I want to make you reflect on one thing: in 90% of the reviews, as here 95% of the commentators (who are great connoisseurs of cinema) agree on defining this film at least a 4 and a good half say it's a 5, the only one who gave it a 2 is Velluto Sporco... a question: are all the 99% of the commentators fools and only Velluto Sporco understands? Poletti rightly says: as long as a film is well-known and has a good reputation, Velluto Sporco gives it his 2, I add: as long as it’s a little violent and contemptuous towards civilization, the gentleman disapproves it for who knows what reasoning he still hasn’t explained (there are many examples, but I just need to mention "La Grande Abbuffata" which was shamefully rejected because it is a cursed film). Unfortunately, this site cannot be considered a great site, especially because of people like this guy.
