Dr. Adder, do you think that the Current Infinite exists?

When I was "little" and studying away at university, I lived with a guy who one day told me that a few years earlier he had had a furious argument with a friend, and at the end of that fight, he had yelled at him, "why don’t you go and get yourself killed," as often happens to everyone in moments of anger. Well, that very evening that friend of his died in a car accident. A story that, when told like this, almost makes you laugh. But for him, the memory was not at all laughable. Kosmo, life has a much more "subtly wicked" imagination than the best novels can offer. The only problem is that the pages cannot be read backward and often lack a sensible ending.

I quote Davide. For me, it's just not right. Long live Debaser (is the closure of the site serious?), long live everything beautiful that Trellheim has left to the world more or less in touch with her, and long live ... God.

Anyway, I didn't understand Rikardo's comment. One can be great and still cause damage. Take Einstein with relativity, without which there wouldn't have been the atomic bomb. The Aristotelian "method" helped us understand the world, but perhaps it made us lose sight of the unity that underlies it.

Without Aristotle (and Plato), there would have been neither science nor philosophy as we commonly understand it in the West. The fact remains that Aristotelian categories and logic are in contrast both with Eastern philosophy and with modern physics, which is inspired by much of it.
