I haven't read the review. But the curious thing is that yesterday I was thinking about FB (from which I unsubscribed after a month) and I wanted to write Deb an email with some thoughts about the fact that it's better to have "virtual friends" whose faces and names you might not even know, but with whom you can share tastes and passions, than to have "real" friends who think you're "drunk" if you express slightly unconventional tastes. Long live Debaser and down with the "collectors of friends made of nothing but a name, surname, and a real face" on FB!

The cover is beautiful... However, one consideration. I notice on deb that (see also the wonderful review on Cicciolina, certainly a prominent myth of my adolescence...) we have been quite influenced in our choices of works to review by the themes related to the recent "personal" endeavors of our Prime Minister and everything that has ensued from them. Once again, it is shaping our way of living and viewing life, whether we like it or not; no matter how much we might want to define ourselves as "anti-Berlusconians."
