That opening line, which, in eleven words plus a comma, fully captures the essence of Buzzati's story, is a stroke of true genius. I would have liked to be its author (of the opening as well as of the story). Among other things, I was preparing an ed based precisely on the suggestions from Il segreto del bosco vecchio (there's also a film with Villaggio), and now perhaps it's time to move it forward.

He is incredibly talented (even more so in the past) the little cousin of our kosmo. Especially as a writer, perhaps even more so than anything else. The lyrics (but also the music) of Akuadulza have nothing to envy to the best De Andrè, and that says it all.

All these scornful comments, particularly those received from the geriatric department of debaser (of which I am a historic member), don't amuse me much, perhaps because I anticipate the reaction of these grandparents on the day my daughter decides to follow in my footsteps by writing a review of one of my favorite CDs. I will instruct her as best as I can about the risks she might face. Did your father do that?
