From the way you talk about it at the beginning (violent sounds interspersed with acoustic sweetness featuring the flute), it seems like some sort of "In the Court of the Crimson King"................Is that right?

But is the inside (burnt) of an airplane cockpit represented on the cover?? Very cheerful indeed....

The way you talk about the album and the rating you give it don't seem consistent to me (unless you're someone who's very stingy with ratings). So, is it an album to get or not?

Hey, Asereye, what are you doing? Do you occasionally wake up and spout some nonsense wherever it hits you? What does it mean !!!!!!!!11??

Excuse me, but has anyone of you ever listened to or heard of Pascal Comelade, the man who "plays toys"? I’ve been hearing a lot about him for a few years now, and I've even heard him play briefly (he appears in "I Pianoforti di Lubecca" by Capossela's latest). Josi, especially you, given your refined taste (congratulations), can you tell me something?

Of all those from the progressive era (I just miss Starless and Bible Black by a little), this is the one I like the least, even though... I find Prince Rupert very beautiful and Lizard as well (but it's a bit too "stretched"). Nevertheless, it's still a notch above the others and ahead of its time. In this album, I also find (particularly in Happy Family and Indoor Games) a bit of the style of Brian Eno from the first half of Before and After Science.

I think I might have provoked someone..!! Anyway, back to In the Wake, before listening to Peace (the solo guitar version, the second one on the CD), as a huge fan of Genesis, I thought Horizon was unbeatable.... In truth, this piece (there's something magically ancestral in the melody and in the way Fripp plays the guitar) is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard played by a guitar (in the realm of popular music, of course).

Regarding the sax solo over electric guitar arpeggio that I mentioned, it’s not in Lizard but in "One More Red Nightmare," from Red, released in 1974. Anyway, that's a year before Wish You Were Here. Sorry for the mistake.

To continue with the discussion of seeds (not the obvious ones) thrown by Crimso and grown into works of others (a theme that seems very interesting to me), I would like to add that the sound of the electric guitar in Sailor's Tale reminds me a lot of some "Industrial" sounds heard, if I remember correctly, in Fragile by NIN (1999). Is anyone aware of other "seeds"? As for Crimso again, in Lizard (1970) there is a sax solo over a repeated arpeggiated electric guitar that is almost identical to the final part of Shine On Your Crazy Diamond (a vastly more well-known song) by Pink Floyd (or at least a track from Wish You Were Here, 1975). It seems like an interesting little game. Let me know.
