Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds Your Funeral... My Trial
Voto:
Sorry, but what about Sad Waters? It's definitely one of the most beautiful and poetic songs by Nick Cave.

I saw Benigni's film. What a marvel the opening sequence with Waits singing You Can Never Hold Back the Spring (there's a bit of craft in it, but who cares...). One question: aside from buying the soundtrack, where can I find it or at least listen to it? Help me, please. P.S. Anyway, Benigni is a powerhouse; he immediately made him embrace the famous "drunken" piano again, after having completely set it aside in the last album.

It's just that Rain Dogs is from 1986 and TMR is from 1969.

And then, I'm a huge fan of Tom Waits (tonight I'm going to see Benigni's movie also because Tom is in it) but the blues of Tom Waits (although Waits has done many other wonderful things) is exactly (songwriting and their interpretation) like that of CB made more palatable to the masses (mass is a bit of an exaggeration since, no matter how more digestible it is, it's still a bit hard to swallow).

Since I've recently been labeled as "boring professorialism" (there's surely some truth to it), I'll keep it brief. This album shatters every convention regarding the roles of instruments in a band. Guitars playing drums, clarinets playing guitar, basses playing drums, musical dadaism, etc. A grand, masterpiece of modern art. But definitely not recommended except for those truly interested in the extreme limits of music.

Yes, that "most famous guitar riff in the world since Smells Like Teen Spirit"... Too bad I recently discovered that a certain song called "Il Vento" by Battisti (1969) is very, very similar (clearly in my opinion)... Try it and see for yourself! For me, this group is a huge scam.

I've been listening to it since yesterday. Beautiful, beautiful.

"She's a Rainbow" is from '67. So Nick Drake copied the Rolling Stones?????

I met Nick Drake after the Afterhours. I was shocked when, listening to Fly (Bryter Layter) for the first time, I discovered it was very similar to Come Vorrei. Then I read in a magazine that Manuel Agnelli was a fan of Nick Drake...
