I'm not a Hendrix fanatic. I liked it a lot. The album (shame) I don't know. PS DaveJon, get some open-minded infusions as soon as you can. That way, you might learn to appreciate the efforts of originality (and more) from anyone, without tearing them down for no real reasons and just because you can't understand them.

Just to clarify. For me, De Andrè is a POET, who has the great merit of having "spread" and "reworked" the great art of those MASTERS I mentioned. I’ll leave it at that.

Let’s be honest, DaveJon, Duane has a point. De André is not extraordinary from a strictly musical standpoint, just like Baudelaire, Cohen, Celine, Villon, Dylan Thomas, etc. And not everyone wants to read poetry and sociological treatises while listening to music.
