5 to the review was out of respect for those who follow this stuff, 1 to the album because... the song titles were enough for me...

But couldn’t they just put a band-aid on the hand?

The album title is soooo brilliant! But can we have some hints about who they might remind us of (e.g., Elio e le storie tese, Butthole Surfers, early Flaming Lips, etc.)?

Very beautiful. The pieces you mentioned are great classics. Congratulations.

Infected Mantrico, I checked out your group's MySpace. Damn, you guys are really good (IMMO). Besides, the name you've chosen sounds very, very similar (I don't think it's a coincidence) to that of the forefathers of progressive. Also, the track you play in the video strongly resembles the King Crimson style (21st century, etc., to be clear). To put it in the words of the former leader of one of the best former Italian bands, now just making a fool of himself and getting laughed at by Simona Ventura on TV, if I had the money "I would produce you immediately". Let those who have it step forward.

Speaking of Escher's Relativity, check out the video at this link and then go to minute 2:40 of the Mirador video.

Just a few more small impressions about the album after another listen:
1) It’s definitely not an easy album, nor is it immediately accessible, but it deserves respect.
2) Sometimes it feels like "it plays a bit on you."
3) I confirm all the highlighted references in the "formula," including Comus (echoes of First Utterance are very evident, especially in the first track, with the violins and the female vocals particularly prominent) and Battisti (for the brass and the "bass drum," especially in Mirador, and generally for the band-symphonic sound).
4) The fourth track, although not immediately obvious, is a great Bolero.

X Shò: The cover somewhat reminds me, but if you go to the video at 2:40 you'll see there's an absolutely explicit reference to Escher's Relativity (something already done in the famous Labyrint with David Bowie).
X HAL: Long time no see, what a pleasure to find you again!!
X Pollack: As I had already thought of doing in the past, to avoid unpleasant misunderstandings, from today I will be called Zaireeko!!! PS. Zaireeka is an album by the Flaming Lips, an American band of negligible relevance.

However, I agree with the advice to listen to "the good old Tom Waits."
