Regarding certain types of books I read (unfortunately), I’m becoming so proficient that I can't help but notice the quotes within them. As for "What Ever Happened to Mr. Y," in my opinion, it’s the offspring of a marriage between "The Fourth Dimension" and "Sophie's World" by Gaarder, with witnesses being the works of Borges (especially the Aleph), Crumney, and 20th-century physicists/philosophers (particularly Einstein, Schrodinger, etc.). A marriage celebrated in a beautiful Cyber-Punk castle from the late 1800s. Good "luck" if you decide to read it.

Dr. Adder, your review made me think about how much I would love to have a "mental" life that is simple, how much I would love to love music like the one you describe, how much I would love to be able to still listen to the Pooh, read popular comics, listen to Zucchero with enthusiasm, not to find the jokes of the current comedian stupid. In short, what I sometimes want to say is: fuck Borges, fuck Gödel, Chaitin, fuck Turing, fuck Hofstadter, fuck Dennett, fuck Rucker, fuck myself, fuck books like The Tao of Physics, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Searching for Omega, What Ever Happened to Mr. Y (have you read it?).
