I like to see "sub specie aeternitatis" the unity of all things. Finding similarities between different yet similar works, references and influences that traverse time and disregard geography. Pavese's latest quote also reminded me of "La Casa in Riva Al Mare" by Dalla. I haven't seen the movie, and I didn't try to understand anything "in detail" from what you wrote, it wasn't important to me.

Great link, well done. Anyway, the first two are definitely the masterpieces, but also check out those between these first two and Fearless, as well as Bandstand (more "pop" but truly a breath of fresh air in the lungs). They contain remarkable things (even if different).

This review is a joke, and since you've successfully pulled one over on all of us, I now give you the highest rating now that I've realized it.

"But I think it's time to talk about the album and the concept that Battisti wants to express through the songs." Look, maybe you were really tired and not completely clear-headed when you started writing. Anyway, it's not strictly necessary for you to try again, okay?

Well, spelling mistakes can happen and are often inevitable; everyone knows the fatigue of writing. But "vendito" after just two lines!!

Pieces of glass was also my favorite, but so was the Doctor's Daughter...

Roberto Vecchioni recently declared that the first time he heard Rimmel, tears came to his eyes for the beauty of the songs he was listening to and for the realization that he would never be able to compose anything of such beauty. Honor to Roberto Vecchioni.

The Family have been absolutely amazing, with music of unprecedented (and perhaps unparalleled?) progressive "fantasy." The review is great, but when talking about them, you jumped straight to Fearless (a beautiful album) without mentioning Entertainment (their masterpiece?).
