I haven't seen them live myself, but my friend's judgment was mostly on the band as a whole and their vibe. From what I've gathered from your comments, though, Li really knows how to go hard; still, I'm not a fan of his style.

They are young girls, I had seen the video on YOS (the radical-chic music channel that has taken the place of telemarket on my television, along with the legendary infomercials of Franco Boni and Prince Jabim - or something like that) and I must say that I was quite impressed. The radical-intellectual comments above are really pathetic.

I've always found him deeply annoying, even though his knack for writing provincial folk music is admirable. If he had never existed, many cover bands playing on Friday nights at the disco pub wouldn't know how to fill the setlist to serve to the fucking assholes who crowd these strange places, getting wasted while downing liters of beer spiked with ash from cigarettes.

A genius, likely to be regarded as a pioneer alongside Richard Benson after his death... for now, however, he can calmly go screw himself with all four handles.

I heard that one before. The genre, in my opinion, can be defined as chipmunks power metal due to their choice of using ultra-fast metronome tempos that make their songs quite similar to those of the band led by Alvin Rock'n'roll, the three cute chipmunks. I must say that as a musician in this genre (see Pandaemonium review, my band), I can't completely dismiss them, especially since I’ve noticed a slight personality in some vocal melodies. However, they didn't impress me much in terms of technique; the solos mostly suck and the production is rather artificial. Ultimately, it doesn't seem like a band that really knows how to play what they record (today's technology allows for this unfortunately), and my impression was confirmed by a friend who saw them live. Furthermore, the songs all resemble each other in structure, speed, and composition (it's enough to get to track 3 to exhaust the listening experience). Anyway, fans of the genre will certainly find some tracks that energize them.

Perhaps Saqualo, the comparison wasn't the happiest, I just wanted to say that Flea is a bit overrated.

Dear Panzer, when you become a musician not as young as I am, I believe you will reconsider your admiration for Petrucci... the solo in Metropolis seems to me to be done with the usual shredder technique, a looping fingering that repeats across various positions, and the fact that I can’t even remember how he does it now is a sign of its lack of impact. I know that the rhythmic and compositional solutions of Dream Theater (including the one I find particularly famous, The Mirror) are cool, but this has nothing to do with Petrucci's guitar talent (in the sense of guitar hero, not composer). Moreover, I assure you that sooner or later - when you’re no longer dazzled by the band's technique - they will also lose their charm for you, revealing themselves to be a bit mechanical and artificial.
