But anyway, the cover of Rob is a bit satanic... is that a reversed star on his little finger?!

No, in fact, live they can be really good when they want to! It would be great if there were more bands like this in Italy... The bassist is indeed highly attractive, and in person, she's not even pretentious. That night, I ended up looking like an idiot; she raises her drink for a toast, I don't get it, thinking she’s pointing to something behind me, and I turn around to look like a fool while she’s waiting for the cheers... God, what a dumb ass I can be sometimes...

@Dr. Fott: I couldn’t believe it when they made that statement... the funny thing is they make these bold claims to emancipate themselves from the label of a teen group and gain some credibility, but they just embarrass themselves even more... anyway, even if I mock them, I don’t mind their albums.

Sorry Burns for interfering in a discussion I'm not really following, but your long posts are a bit showy! What do you mean by semiotic registers?! Perhaps you meant semantic? Then I want to point out, the Hegelian path that leads "to cognitive processes that are completely rational," which, however, after a while reconcile with the "instinctual world" (but weren't they completely rational?!). Then the whole tirade, based on enviable knowledge, seems to contradict Chandler a little aimlessly and at times appears to lack sense (but perhaps I lack the semiotic registers). Moreover, in my opinion, in modern Japanese iconography, it is undeniable that there is "spontaneity, carnality, substance, and blood" to a greater and more gratuitous extent than in our case, and this gratuitousness is not always the result of long Hegelian arcs drawn at hyper-metaphorical levels.

@Filippo G., I also think Piece Of Mind is a spectacular album that easily competes with the more renowned masterpieces of the Band. In my opinion, only The Number Of the Beast is comparable to it, and nowadays I still prefer Piece.

The Verdena, on their records lions and on stage a couple of assholes... you’d say. GOD how full of themselves they are, I saw them in Fuscaldo, a small village in Calabria that has probably never heard a distorted note in its entire existence: the audience is in a tizzy for these four losers whose live songs all sound terribly alike and what do they do? They don’t even come to sign a couple of fucking autographs for those crazies waiting for them after the concert... Another time I saw them at the Rolling in Milan in a showcase: after twenty minutes the cursed poet-singer of my balls announces: “now we’re going to do a psychedelic Jam” (I mean, can you really announce a psychedelic Jam?!). A loser from their staff gets on stage to play a fucking sax and they keep on semi-improvising for 20 minutes on a really lame riff. At the end of the concert, I catch the bassist upstairs and we exchange a couple of words... when I tell her I had fun playing a couple of her bass lines, she says: “Well, they’re not that hard…” And I think (but my face betrays my thoughts): “At least you know, you jerk...”
