I subscribe to Fidia; the re-evaluations by critics based solely on merely formal or historical rational arguments (like "they invented this," "they revolutionized that") that disregard the intrinsic musical value of the proposal (which, in my opinion, is rationally unfathomable) really piss me off.

I can't stand comedians who, just because they make people laugh, think they can also act, sing, host, etc. but Checco is an exception!! First of all, musically he’s no idiot, since he writes his own songs and they’re catchy (a lot of melodic Neapolitan singers would kill for them). Plus, the lyrics are hilarious (I have his entire album on my PSP and I swear it was my cult CD for a week). A line here in the studio where I work has already become a catchphrase: "mi hanno detto che ero contumace...ma che cazzo vole dì?!!"

What a fucking album, with a shocking level of flatness and banality. While self-plagiarism (and plagiarism) in Stratovarius's albums is often the order of the day, here it seems they have only self-plagiarized the worst tracks, slowing down the tempo and abolishing the snare on the upbeat and sixteenths in general... on the other hand, even the Strato themselves know it, as at the "promotion" concert they limited themselves (thank God) to offering Maniac Dance and that immense bore "Land of Ice and Snow (I think that's what it's called)." Ironically, they practically played Visions in its entirety...

Well, this review is very naive, but it's not exactly something to throw down the toilet. A colleague of mine told me there were loads of chicks? Can you confirm fuck forever? Anyway, I find them very irritating, in a way that only the English can be.
