@poeltti sorry if I’m intruding in a matter that doesn’t concern me, your beliefs about cinema, while commendable, do not grant you the right to roam the site pointing out strangers as mephistophelian "average viewers" incapable of understanding films. Perhaps you are no longer even aware of it, but you come off as offensive and arrogant (therefore annoying) even to an outside observer like I was in this case. Especially in a situation like this, where Alexander has sufficiently articulated the reasons why he does not appreciate Lynch's cinema (reasons I do not fully agree with, but which are certainly understandable and respectable).

Madonna, what the hell have these Verdena done to you?! The last album I listened to, regardless of the quality of the tracks that still seemed decent to me, felt like a record following a very different direction from the Nirvana-like catchy tune formula with a shouted chorus that brought them to prominence when they were just 17. It’s an album that sounds amazing, self-produced, with pieces that hardly wink at the adolescent pop-rock that is currently trending, so I really don't see the devil of music marketing in them (I think if they wanted to sell out, they could easily have made a record of 3-and-a-half-minute songs with some catchy choruses that they still know how to write). Honestly, you’re being way too harsh; there’s no objectivity in your judgments. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if the album had come out under another name, it would surely have received praise from many who are now condemning and stoning this band solely because they have (a small) success.

I've always found them somewhat annoying, much like the whole Britpop scene that I ideologically opposed back then. But if I can find some quality in certain groups from that scene today, they still fail to convince me: Bitter Sweet, if you take away the string arrangement they didn’t write, what’s left? Don’t tell me that the vocal line (not to mention the rest) is a miracle. Or Lucky Man, which is even pointed out as a classic, what is it if not a rock-pop song? I don’t know, in my opinion it’s a band sustained only by the charisma of the singer; if James Blunt had sung the same songs, we’d all be mocking them by now. (I should clarify that my judgment is not influenced by the number of copies sold, a circumstance that is completely irrelevant to me, as I often found myself defending well-known bands from the snob criticisms of the debasers).

Anyway, I am not yet a lawyer; I will take the exam in December (I mention this mostly for superstitious reasons). As for the proximity between lawyers and psychologists (more than psychiatrists), I can only confirm it, considering that the big boss of the firm where I work is one of the leading experts in legal psychology in Italy. Best regards.

The issue, Vic, is that the editors, being the publishers of the site, can freely exercise control over the content of debaser, even through these (in my opinion, rather ineffective) forms of message limitation. The fact that the editorial line is generally characterized by absolute freedom of expression for users does create a sort of "de facto right" for users to express themselves through debaser, but it does not create any legally relevant or legally protected right. The right to express oneself on debaser, in other words, is a "right" created by the editors but entirely available to them. Moreover, we must not forget that the editors themselves could be held liable for failure to control the writings they publish, even if signed by others. In conclusion, although I personally find the limitations they imposed on you rather trivial, I do not see grounds for responsibility in the conduct of the editors you described. Best regards, Mista:-)

So, as far as I know, there’s KimDealIsHot, Burns, Randolph Chandler, Precazzo, but I'm sure there are just a few. Some say Sanjuro, but it’s not certain yet. Anyway, it’s a pity that you, Vic, have to (or want to) rely on all these personalities to write quaddentro, personally I enjoy reading you, but sometimes I don’t even realize I’m reading you!

However, I too have frequently found "jus" written with a j. Therefore, I also endorse Trell's opinion regarding the ambivalence of the two forms.

But why, in addition to the counter of human cases, don't we also have a counter for Vic Sorriso's fakes? I think it would be very useful.

But do concert reviews always end up being pages from a Smemoranda?
