But then you're really illiterate if you keep saying the thesis is mine, and it turns out you don't know how to use your own head: you start from what others say, and then whether it’s true or not, you hardly care. Translation=following trends. And then you keep saying you think you know more: what would you like to say? Compared to me? You would invalidate this long and pointless discussion to prove you don’t want to be a nerd. (I didn’t respond earlier because I was busy all day recovering from my first hangover...)

And for those who don't know: ABCDEFGHILMNOPQRSTUVZ. Now, with the skills you just acquired (even though I think you're pretending not to have them to make things easier for yourselves), go read 28 comments above this one, since I don't feel like repeating the same things twice, and think twice before criticizing me again on this point. I couldn't care less about that; those are conventions, but they hide crushing truths, like the fact that limp and slipknot are just as alike as a dog and a lizard, which, not coincidentally, have different names. Look at frost, he made a nice speech about genres because he expressed a creation from his own mind, unlike the rest of you... And if slipknot isn’t original, it doesn’t matter, one can even copy, but if it surpasses the original, as it has, then it deserves to be praised all the more. That's all from the Left.

I want to clarify that I never said that Slipknot are technical; this goes beyond my expertise. I could judge something at most about vocal techniques, but since I see there's a lot of presumption around (CoolOras, not to name names, you're always right, Professor Metal + convention). Cool, my intention wasn't to act like a know-it-all, but yours was. Since I don’t know who you are referring to, one thing is certain: victimizing Slipknot is a widespread trend, and you follow it for the same reason as many others. Never call anyone ignorant if you don’t know who you’re talking to.

Hey, you wreck, you wouldn't happen to be Sardinian, would you?

No, I don't believe that at all. I just think you can't define two different things in the same way; and as I know Mushroomhead, I also know Death, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Dio, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, Rhapsody, and the same goes for Kataklysm, Napalm Death, Acheron, Cynic, Dimmu Borgir, Deicide, or Nightwish, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil. I absolutely know the genre; then it also depends on your concept of genre, dear CoolOras.

How far we've fallen in culture... The masks have been copied from Mushroomhead, and those who know them well are aware of it, due to numerous accusations and their own admission. I keep seeing a lot of people writing just to prove they exist, but nothing substantial. If you don't like the band that much, don't even read about them, and wash your hands before writing bullshit about a "futility you don't know."

It's always me, the definition was given to me by an expert, it's not mine, but certainly if nu-metal is Limp, then not the others: the differences are evident for anyone who isn't deaf and has ever heard them, that is, 5 of those who wrote. I like your point of view, Killgod, even if I don't fully agree.

Dear Mr. (matteo 85), I will satisfy you immediately, or I hope to. It will be another awful review, but no one has done it yet, and I would like to see who knows them.

I apologize for the mistake (trash): I have done very little English. You are right to criticize my review; I also find it really ugly. But you can't tell me that you don't follow trends: you've never heard them, you just say they suck out of convention, because everyone says that "metal isn't what it used to be." Of course it's not, you can't always stay stuck in the times of Alice Cooper. And I don't even see any violence in limp, nor similarities with that song by Korn. Then try listening to an album like "Arise" by Sepultura, and then "Seasons In The Abyss" by Slayer, compare them to this, without the prejudices you have, and you'll realize that the first two differ only in vocal style, this is just evolution. Uncle burba, I can only imagine what emotion it must be to look at yourself in the mirror with a nickname like that...

This review almost corresponds with what I think too, except that something could be added. Nice anyway, while the album is definitely the worst. By the way, the singer's name was Anders Cosefni.
