uff... am I the one who has dropped a level? You told me I need a support teacher, a "gentle" way (truck driver kindness, anyway) to say that I'm handicapped. At this point, NO COMMENT. I said I like them because I appreciate them technically, oh but what have we been talking about for two days? I know that shredders disgust you. As for Parker, he might have his head a bit in the clouds, but what does that have to do with the fact that Fareri (who, by the way, seems WELL ORGANIZED, see the website) teaches for 20 euros? Come on, don't tell me he does it out of philanthropy... now you ask me why I consider Malmsteen an artist... I believe that a musician should be judged based on their personal taste in playing. Now, I feel like I've made a bunch of considerations about his PERSONAL TASTE that goes well beyond just playing fast for the sake of it. I know full well that sometimes he goes overboard, that he's made some crappy songs, that he's also made some CRAPPY solos. That doesn't take away from the fact that he's also composed wonderful songs and touching solos. P.S. I'm sorry that the discussion has degenerated into controversy... it happens when discussing topics that are dear to both parties.

Oh, listen momocourse: the water burns, the fire wets, the dog meows, and fareri is better than malmsteen. Okay? According to the law, BEING IS NOT NON-BEING. Did you see jettojet that we found a universal law?:-)

1 is a questionable logic ONLY FOR YOU; after all, I’ve provided you with a myriad of arguments, but since evidently with that guitar you can't even play "La canzone del sole," you didn't give it the right importance. You like guitarists who "zappano," and well, nobody's perfect. THE FACT IS THAT THE GUY YOU MENTIONED (Charlie Parker) LIVED AND OPERATED IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CONTEXT, AND THIS IS WHAT I TOLD YOU. Besides, I find that you really have a goat-like ignorance, nothing but a support teacher for me. (And now go ahead and whine that I offended you, uèèèèèèèèè). 2 Really: you don't understand anything at all.

1Charlie Parker2, in my opinion, is an artist. I don't expect everyone to appreciate him as such. If you're not born with it, you can't become it. OH AND NOW YOU'LL BE HAPPY THAT I RESPONDED TO YOUR TWO NONSENSE COMMENTS! LUCKILY I HAD NO ARGUMENTS, but isn’t it you who can’t read? My arguments are plain for everyone to see except for you. PS: it wasn't an insult; on the contrary, it was an overly kind compliment for an elephant that hides behind a finger like you.

Me, a boor? You see your flaws in others. After all, you’re the one who basically called yourself an idiot. As for the discussion on Malmsteen, I think I’ve already refuted you on everything, and I won't go back to it. The most atrocious insult I can give you is to wish you to continue listening to and judging music as you are and to sleep in your lethargic slumber forever.

momo, you talk nonsense (Malmsteen's action is 0.9 and that's very HIGH) you don't understand my answers (I know everyone changes the pickups, etc., but mine were considerations about his TASTE in playing or does everyone change them the same way?????????) you use VAGUE arguments (you make nonsensical comparisons with musicians who lived in a completely different era) and say incomprehensible nonsense (but what does it mean that he was the progenitor? If many of Malmsteen's followers have only seen what you have seen, it's not his fault, so is the rise of the communist dictatorship in Russia Marx's fault!) I will look for the Guinness World Records website and we'll see if there's anything. PS: I'm not running away from anyone.

Here, either one understands or keeps silent or learns. Momo course when you're ready to understand, give me a whistle...

Oh my dear, you haven't considered what I've said; you've started telling your little story about bending, etc., in a horrifically simplistic way without responding to me. This isn't a war, but if you keep repeating that I don't know things, I have to respond. Then you talk to me about rankings (your arguments are very VAPOROUS, and this one is too), but it was the same person who ranked Cobain as the 4th best guitarist of all time?? And then you keep talking to me about shredding while I’ve made a series of considerations (and there are many more) about Malmsteen's playing style that go far beyond what can be said about a shredder (I hate shredding, I've already said it, and that's why I call it mediocre), but you’ve blissfully ignored that! Evidently, these are things you don't even SEE in a musician! Good for you! Then, if you rely solely on your ear to distinguish who is faster and who is not when we're talking about DOZENS of notes per second, you demonstrate that you have not even the faintest idea of how difficult the discussion can be, and since music is dear to my heart, I’ll take Jettojet’s advice and leave you to your farewells, as he is one of the most technical guitarists in the world, giving home lessons for 20 euros an hour. As for the discussion about pushing limits, I believe that a musician's limits are certainly not in the speed at which they play or whether they can tap with their feet and strum with their butt, but it’s clear that we see music in two very different ways.

Of course, I read this on the Fareri website. Ah, the sheet music is also fine in PowerTab or Guitar Pro format (I have "Under the Influence" like that).

ah, by the way, Fareri gives guitar lessons for 20 euros an hour (he's so technical and perfect yet he doesn't teach at an academy...he gives home guitar lessons, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?) I might just take the opportunity to suggest he change his right hand technique.
