James L. Brooks Qualcosa E' Cambiato

A beautiful sparkling comedy, but not light, intense yet weightless. Great Nicholson. Sensitive review.
Ermanno Olmi Cento Chiodi
Voto:
A truly intense film, Olmi's latest fiction film seems to encapsulate all the ethics and aesthetics of his previous works, a film that is a final cry, of untamed passion, towards this society of Having, of appearances. It would have seemed out of place to me a mythology of the Po, at least not relevant to a film that deals with a theme that is simply ethical. Clearly, the figure of the river, moreover immortalized by masterfully directed photography, must be transcended as it can be the river of Siddartha by Hermann Hesse or the Colorado by Ford, seen as a natural element holding a truth, the absolute truth, that of nature. More than justified, therefore, a romantic and evocative narrative. One of the best films I've had the chance to see in recent times, where the undeniable depth of meanings is joined by a poignant beauty of signifiers. Raz Degan remains a question mark; after all, reincarnating Christ is not a simple task, giving him a new face... yes... but which one?

Yes Coso, exactly, he came to visit the lagoon, but as we know, the world of cinema, just like that of music and records, operates on the sharpest palace logics. I thank everyone, I apologize to the Rivoli Real, which I might appreciate elsewhere, and I send a special greeting to Odradek, whom I didn’t think I would find around here. Better for us.

Useless record, you’re right dear Deldavid, when you write that the tracklist could have been better, at least if it had to be. These are ephemeral and pretentious opinions, anyway. Among the reviews drawn from the rich treasure chest of Youngian music, there is indeed a missing album that our experts have already pinpointed. If I may throw the stone - perhaps someone will pick it up and write us a review! - something is missing from the CSN&Y side.

Dear Vortex, I don't quite understand where you're headed... please explain better what you mean. As for the Rivoli, if it’s actually called that, it’s for people like you that I haven't posted in this site for two years. There are ways and ways to say things; one should think before writing. Amen.
Gianna Nannini Latin Lover

In Nannini's albums, there's nothing Rock except for her... An honorable artist...
Francesco Salvi MegaSalvi

I don't agree with your conclusion; I would say that the following works (on a trip with Salvi, to the wolf, Beauty and the Beast) are humble examples of silly songs, nothing special, but products of an intellectual honesty and a clarity that clearly surpasses a Nek or a Gigi D’Alessio today, who are definitely more pathetic.
Jim Jarmusch Down By Law (Daunbailò)

A unique and pristine film that comes from the distant past... I've been absent for a while... so forgive me for the trivial question... but since when are films reviewed on Debaser? Thank you...

Always punctual as always.. it's hard not to agree..
I would have a few more dilemmas when it comes to deciding the absolute worst album, I at least have 2 or 3 titles that are in the running...
