So I went to check out the records reviewed by dear lovelorn, who, judging by how he talks about music, knows quite a bit and can afford to give a 1 to a review without even reading it just because he can't accept other people's opinions. So apart from those bunches of gothic metal crap (a genre that was born and died with Paradise Lost, the rest are pathetic imitations contaminated with the most banal and kitschy classical music), and power metal (an artistically null genre as a deformation of what Rainbow were in the 70s. Epic power was born and died with them, what Stratovarius, Helloween, etc. did was simply steal the epic atmospheres from Rainbow, paste on some ridiculously simplistic melodies bordering on pathetic, and season it all with fantasy elements from The Lord of the Rings). Aside from this, lovelorn, I bet that crap L'aura (who's not a bad copy of Elisa, nooo) deserved the 5 stars you gave her really. And even the 4 stars for My Chemical Romance, the 4 for Gianna Nannini, and I bet also the 4 STARS FOR THE LAST EVANESCENCE ALBUM. Ah... you listen to Evanescence? What am I even talking about with you then?
