There's someone who has it out for me...suengiu metal 88...what's up?? I'm a huge fan of the D.t.....I didn't quite understand your comment a few lines up...could you clarify what I did??

Kaiser...maybe you will prefer the 90-2000 era of Metallica, the one where they released the Black Album, Load, and Reload...which are more mellow, buy those that you might like.....anyway, Metallica is NOT St. Anger, luckily.....that album has nothing to do with their traditional style of anger and craftsmanship...that instead is just noise!!

that's the problem.... that one doesn't suit me!!! the original and the usual performance live really gets me going in a nasty way!!!

You know what the problem with this album is... that songs come out splendidly executed standing tall: you see The Call of Ktulu, and the songs from Load/Reload... and the unreleased tracks... but songs like Master of Puppets, Fuel, and Battery came out way too harmless... dull...

But look, bassist, they were doing ballads even before... if the Black Album deserves condemnation, it’s for the publicity that came out afterward... maybe St. Anger was on the quality level of the B.A.... maybe... that’s the problem!

steel mill in motion? I mean, do distorted guitars and bass over a marching drum sound like steel to you? You might need a hearing aid... metal is called that because it’s the distortion that dominates simple riffs... the melody becomes furious... simple arpeggios almost feel weighed down by the distortion... but not because they sound like iron instruments... it seems like you're a bit clueless about music... if you play an instrument, you’ll understand one day the communicative power of a rock-metal piece... since all musicians who have a band play 90% rock or metal... think about it a bit... can you name a group that plays dance or techno or house LIVE? It’s music; it’s danced to by the drugged in clubs... the queens at the beach... what category are you in?

Are you listening to techno? Oh mom... we would have left the steel mill but you must have come out of a money sampler... you loop a Tuz tuz.. shoot out 4 random words with a plug-in... repeat them with the initial noise... and the techno is done! It means nothing... the people making it have NEVER studied music... (oh, does one need a conservatory to make dance or techno or other similar crap?)... look, Metallica are MUSICIANS: Kirk Hammett took guitar lessons from JOE SATRIANI, do you know who that is? I think not... Clifford Lee Burton wandered between jazz, classical music, and semi-melodic American hardcore... for him changing style from one piece to another is like Schumacher shifting gears on the F2004... Lars Ulrich was among the first drummers to blast double bass like a helicopter... maneuvering those little elbows between hi-hat and toms like Inspector Gadget, (and these are rhythms created by a person, not by a computer like your shit-music!)... James Hetfield, with a single word spoken, expressed a feeling... rage or resentment... and he strummed the rhythm like a madman... that’s enough.

I actually don't really like the remastered versions... but the reviewer did a decent job, attempting to comment on the connection between Kill 'Em All and M.O.P.... anyway, if you listen to the album, there are a couple of things that popped up between Ride the Lightning and M.O.P., like the initial guitar arpeggio... only that the one in Fight Fire with Fire, in my opinion, is NOT gloomy... rather the opposite! Gloomy is the arpeggio in Battery... then guys... just so you know, For Whom the Bell Tolls is not something to dismiss, maybe for the drums... but for the bass, I absolutely love the riff that follows the intro and the one that comes after that... very nice, ehh dear Cliff, your creativity on bass was phenomenal... it felt like you wanted to communicate something...

In my opinion, Collins is too simple and natural... he seems like an average drummer... what do you think he does that’s more than normal?
