I bought an electric bass 2 months ago.... I have a nice Yamaha rbx 270J... I recommend it to anyone who wants to start..... it's beautiful and costs very little... I paid 280 euros for it... and it has a really solid sound!... I paid 140 euros for the amplifier (a ROYTEK 35W)... sorry guys.. a question.... since I'm using tablature... can someone explain to me what the hell it means when I see a symbol " R "? thanks....

Well... I don't know... it looks more like a guitar to me than a bass!... the bass is supposed to be low, and it should be that way... I don't like the wah wah... I see it as a little joke on the bass...

to drug addiction/alcoholism, I associate SAD BUT TRUE... the lyrics really seem to refer to something, a feeling... something you have to do that makes you yourself!!! Does anyone think like me?

You know... you're right that t.o.t. is nice... unfortunately, it has one flaw... it's too heavy... the guitar is too tough... awake with that Ibanez 7-string and that sweet Mesa-Boogie amplification was really something... I don't really like the Music Man for metal... I don't know, it's just a matter of perspective... anyway, dying soul turned out well, very well, and holds its own structure and rhythm beautifully...

(or, but not too much, eh... ;-)...).....Malmsteen is technical, empty, hypocritical, and showy...Dream Theater are COMPLEX...deep...certainly so deep that your mind, foreign to emotions, doesn’t understand them and will never understand them! Did they split up? Oh well... I didn't know that... anyway, Tolkki is fast, the problem is that he's a bit rough without his nice studio filters... the live shows prove it! The album is great, but it's not a classic metal one!
