Anyway guys... I say one thing, everyone attacks Bob Rock, but guys.. what blame does this poor guy have?... He was greatly assisting the band's productions, the sound was beautifully crafted... the instrumentation impeccable... in my opinion, the decline in quality of Metallica is really due to them, yes, to them, and not only that... we're talking about a change in the band that occurred around the '90s, in the musical landscape there were upheavals during those years: the birth of grunge, the slow down and simplification of rock structures... so let's say they got caught up in the stylistic influences of the time... which I would say is not a good thing, but guys, you have to change every once in a while, they did it by slowing down the tempos and mixing in a bit more catchiness in the songs, so why should we shoot them, stone them, or hang them... or call that poor Bob Rock a faggot when he’s got no blame?

But I still say that on this site no one has mentioned my progressive idol...the king of drummers from the '70s/'80s...and not just because he had insane fills in time...but also because watching him play was absolutely O-R-G-A-S-M-I-C!!! friends...I’m talking about the legendary FRANZ DI CIOCCIO...behind the drum set of PFM, there was a monster...the godfather of Portnoy...he was EXPRESSIVE (right, easycure?)...powerful and refined at the same time...but with so much spirit and creativity...can anyone say otherwise? In my opinion...he will go down in history as the best prog rock drummer ever.

celebroleso? ah,ah,ah----you come at me with this metal = shit shot? and what music do you listen to? if you don’t like metal, don’t bother us with your nonsense by trashing a metal review....go comment on a Take That review....that’s better!

Hi easy... I just wanted to clarify something for you... my comment above was not at all meant to mess with you, on the contrary... I never really mess with people... that "soap" I wrote was meant to give us all a good laugh... lovers and fans supporters of Dream Theater and detractors... by now the reviews are just churning out thousands of the same posts... as a fan, I support them... maybe there’s someone who inevitably disagrees with me... but that’s it, it ends there... I still listen to them anyway... to those who don’t like them... well... opinions... like yours easy, after all!.. bye.. (p.s. I'm reworking some of my concepts of expressiveness, maybe we’ll catch up in some reviews, huh?)...

And I think you're right, Bassist... but I mean, couldn't they find another bassist more suited to their style?... p.s. bassist, you who have the DVD of "live shit..etc." have you noticed that contrabass that Newsted has in the final solo?

What are you rambling about?... I mean, an opinion should be respected, but when we're talking about real things.... then Myung is absurdly the best when it comes to speed... and even more strangely listenable in creativity... the catchiness of the devastating solo in "the ytse jam" is the proof of that... if we have to point out one flaw of Myung... it's that in live performances his bass isn't very audible.... true?? Or am I just talking nonsense here?...

Indeed, you know that after 4 months I regret having given so little to this album... I've listened to it many times since then... I think I'll raise my rating to 4.... anyway, I totally agree with you Brusio, good album... but personally, AWAKE remains my absolute favorite CD....
