Great review.. I've always really liked Gary Moore as a guitarist, you're right, he's always very underrated.. it will be a pleasure to see him...

Well yes, mistrNo, it seems that we are basically saying the same thing about the aor groups and the Styx (I’m not the one putting them in the genre :D). Anyway, hats off to this band, it’s just that... at the concert, they were way too pumped up, and they were self-congratulating to the bone, in a really exaggerated way: well, looking back at some footage from their golden days, they carried themselves in a much more dignified and normal manner. Then musically, they were also absolute monsters in 2005; I have no doubt about that. Whether they were hyped or not, they remain great musicians.

Finally, I can comment on it... what can I say, releasing an album like this in 2002 is truly incredible. Maybe I'm too biased to say that Tom Petty has never disappointed me: all of his works are a guarantee! Perhaps this one isn't quite on the same level as Wildflowers, which I consider one of the best, if not the absolute best. However, hats off for the themes as well... in short... Great Tom!!

I saw them together too!!!! I don’t know, I didn’t like them much live, they’re often placed in the aor genre, like Boston, Foreigner, Journey: personally, I think they are clearly inferior to the three mentioned. But Pieces of Eight... what an album, guys, what an album!! Fabulous..! I’ll listen to this.. great piby!
