Ian Hunter Shrunken Heads

I wish they made more albums like this in 2007! I admit I prefer Hunter's earlier period, that unbeatable one of "All American Alien Boy" and "You're Never Alone With A Schizophrenic," which I personally find to be the two incomparable ones, but this one didn't disappoint me on the first listen. And then his voice, it's still incredible.
Elvis Costello My Aim is True

Great review. I will definitely listen to the album, especially since I've always wanted to hear something by Costello.
Niacin Live! Blood, Sweat And Beers

Truly a training of the madonna1 Regarding their project, I know "Deep" and its eponymous album, both great records that leave you speechless due to the technical skills of the members. And then I have a soft spot for Billy Sheehan; I personally consider him one of the best bassists of all time. I haven't had the chance to hear them live yet, but I will make sure to...

more than anything from the Bad Company song, but Dylan's one works just fine too... :))
Traveling Wilburys Volume 1
Voto:
This review had escaped my attention, but after I reviewed Petty's album Full Moon Fever, where you mentioned you had written one about the Traveling Wilburys, I eagerly dove into it. Congratulations, it's a nice straightforward review that captures the true essence of this great group. For people who listen to that American-Beatlesque music & co., discovering a project like this is pure ecstasy (it was for me!). Often these collaborations, as you also mention, can disappoint, but not this one; it's magnificent! And for a Tom Petty fan/maniac like me to see him playing around on bass is truly extraordinary; his vast artistic experience is evident. Great, really great.
