ahh how nice, the first to comment... I LOVE this great man! You're right, the album is truly beautiful, even if you call The Last DJ "somewhat convincing": quite the opposite, in my opinion it's a magnificent album, maybe because I adore Petty's more "mature" period, starting from Full Moon Fever and including masterpieces like Wildflowers, Echo, and of course The Last DJ (even though I listen to his entire discography). Highway Companion is ultimately just a way to affirm the unique artistic greatness of Tom.
