Beautiful review. You are right about everything. Well done.

The album has a sound that's too light pop for my tastes, and I don't really like Bacon's voice much. And as you rightly point out, from Hackett and Howe (together!) you expect much more. The two instrumental works by the two guitarists are nice. Great review!
