Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

An album that is the result of the Dream Theater of the new millennium, ultra-technical, extremely talented, but often unlistenable because of it. The beautiful tracks are rare, but they do exist in this album; it’s just a shame you have to search for them among the technicalities that, in my opinion, ultimately serve no purpose. Lots of packaging, a few good ideas, but nothing sensational. They peaked after Metropolis Part II: Scenes From A Memory.
