The concert film "Genesis in concert 1976" featuring "A Trick Of The Tail" with Bill Bruford on drums seems to me the only gem worth having it for.

Saxon Into The Labyrinth

For me, Saxon ended in 1995, when guitarist Graham Oliver left because he disagreed with Byford & CO.'s shift towards modernity and reformed Son Of A Bitch with Pete Gill and then Oliver/Dawson Saxon, the counter-Saxon, with bassist Steve Dawson. Saxon changed their sound too much. I’ve heard some of the new albums, they’re terrible. I haven't heard this one, but I have no intention of doing so either.

Thank you for the smart comments left by all of you. I agree with Shò regarding Barlow, although Clive Bunker is no less impressive to me; I concur with Giona about the lackluster results of Martin's early solo albums, and consequently, I agree with thejargonking regarding the modest songwriting. I was long undecided whether to give this album a 3 or a 4, but since it stands out compared to the previous ones, a 4 seemed fitting. Finally, dear templar, in my opinion, there are noteworthy albums after A Passion Play, such as the folk trilogy (Songs from the Wood / Heavy Horses / Stormwatch) or Minstrel In The Gallery. To not recognize them, you’ve surely heard the abominations of the '80s like Under Wraps, but if you want to hear a great album, I recommend The Broadsword and the Beast or Crest of a Knave. It’s up to you to decide whether the 70s folk sound excites you more or the more modern one. Cheers!

Oh yes, Shò, now in Jethro we have David Goodier on bass (instead of Jonathan Noyce) and John O'Hara on keyboards (instead of Andy Giddings): if the technical level on bass is about the same, they’ve lost quite a bit with the new keyboardist. In general, however, the aforementioned four musicians have a rather diminished personality because Ian confines them to being mere executors. The times when Jethro Tull would "have fun" on stage as they did in the '70s, and even just with the trio of Anderson-Barre-Pegg, seem quite distant.
