Great review, well done! You highlighted a nice group that most people are unfamiliar with. Just a small anachronism: Nick Simper never played with Gillan. He left along with the singer Rod Evans. But other than that, stunning review!!
Judas Priest Turbo
Voto:
What annoyed people about Turbo were three things: 1 the big promotional campaign, complete with television ads. 2 The new preppy look that Judas Priest adopted, with colorful circus jackets instead of studded leather and dandy hairstyles (Dave Holland with curls!). 3 The use of synth guitars, which, however, did not turn the album into a kind of techno-metal. But aside from the intros and a couple of interludes, the music is heavy metal, PERIOD. Turbo is a bold album, different from all the others. It needs to be listened to many times without prejudice in order to be appreciated. I completely agree with what Rob Halford and my friend Ronnie James Dio say.

Here’s the point, Slim: the late '80s is a chaotic time. People are in and out of Black Sabbath like it's a supermarket...
Roger Waters Amused To Death

The review is beautiful and passionate. As you say, the album is quite difficult. However, I believe it's excessively heavy, and honestly, the theme of the father lost in war was more than enough in The Wall. Furthermore, I find that the intros to the songs are too long, detracting from the flow of the listening experience. But the music is not bad at all.

Well, but also h&h and born again are amazing...it's hard to say who would win among the three. 7th star is nice, yes.

The review is extraordinary. But let me ask you a curiosity: were you, by any chance, masturbating while you were writing it? Hehe
