Jethro Tull Benefit
Voto:
"A passion play," "Minstrel in the gallery," the folk trilogy... great albums! @Ole: more or less. ;-)
Jethro Tull Benefit

Even for me, very distant, the Jethro are quite more visceral. Great album discovered late, this "Benefit": "To cry you a song" is fabulous. Still, the best album by the Tull (and perhaps of all music, a subjective opinion shaped by emotions and memories) remains "Thick as a brick"; another 4-5 albums come very close, though.

Here I am again: during the week at the university I have little time to spend on DeB. Hi Ole, hi Lord. To Tales 5 fixed stars, even though I wasn't that enthusiastic about it at first. However, I think the best are the other two, the even-numbered suites: "The remembering" with its obsessive and moving lullaby and "Ritual" with an immense instrumental ecstasy, but the other two are great pieces as well... Let's not forget "Tormato" and "Time and a word," excellent "minor" albums by Yes.

Beautiful review; I really miss this, indeed, but I will listen to it as soon as possible, great band.

Sure that "Northern sky" is really beautiful; I should look into it more.
Peter Jackson Il Signore Degli Anelli

I really don't have time to read it, I'm on break at the university. I'll review it later; in the meantime, I'll give the (sacrosanct) rating to the movie (which is the same as the book).
Rob Marshall Memorie Di Una Geisha

I haven't read the novel and I'm not really a fan of Japan, but this film is amazing. Beautiful and talented Zhang Ziyi and Gong Li (if I'm not mistaken), great atmospheres and landscapes; a great film. As for the plot, I believe, as I've stated before, that it is essential in a film and not just an accessory to technique. Nice review, bye.

Can I at least partially agree with S4doll? I don’t mean to say it’s bad, just boring. To put it better, my ignorant opinion: I didn't understand a damn thing. ;-) - 2.5, which I round to 3 out of respect. Nice review, though, good job.

Well done; I won't hold it against you, then. ;-) - Hi.
