Great suite, but the initial "The year, the place, the hour" is worth an album: stunning.

Despite any misunderstandings, I'm not saying that King Crimson and Soft Machine (whom I absolutely respect) are mental wankery; they're just too complex for my modest musical tastes, ne-c'est pas?

Included in that ranking was "A Passion Play," just to say... Great page to stoke the fire in the fireplace. The Tales? A masterpiece. Said by someone who doesn't listen to music to overthink it with progressive (I'm not a fan of King Crimson or Soft Machine) but who listens to music for enjoyment. And with the Tales, I enjoy it, especially the even-numbered suites. The two isn’t for the review itself, but for the statements about Wakeman. I adore Wakeman. Cheers.

But is that great piece "My doorbell" on "Get behind me Satan"? If they are all like this... On this, very nice "Prickly thorn, but sweetly worn" and the tail "St. Andrew (this battle is in the air)."

"House with no door" is stunning, truly. "Selling England by the pound," which I discovered thanks to a dear girl, is a fairy tale.
