"Showbiz" had 2-3 almost genius tracks in a sea of banality, the second "Origin of Symmetry" was an unbearable load of nonsense (except perhaps the riff of "Newborn"), and this "Absolution" is a bit better but still the same old art rock meatball presented in a crossover key that Italian fans love so much, who in alternative shoot up the equally useless Linea 77. "Stockholm Syndrome" is the track to save from a hypothetical bonfire, and honestly, I can't explain why they haven't been exposed yet; moreover, they aren't even that "virtuosic" as it's claimed.

A highly underrated band that definitely deserves more luck, even though their best album is "100 Broken Windows"... for various aspects incredibly similar to the early R.E.M.
