I thank the few (but good) who broadly understood the meaning of my review. The issue is that there are some here (not everyone) who consider themselves prophets of rock journalism, a new Lester Bangs, with a whole list of names that cannot be criticized, neither now nor ever... there's too much purism, come on. As Carmelo Bene used to say? HERE THERE'S TOO MUCH STINK OF GOD!!!

In my opinion, you're the one who's unwell.. by how you react, it seems like you're about to have a heart attack.. do you have blood pressure issues? Do you want to talk about it? Come on, just stay calm.. silly:°

Timeless album, "Ghost Rider" is a must. I’ve only managed to listen to "Frankie Teardrop" in its entirety twice... a bit like "Sister Ray" by the Velvet.

The bizarre thing is that no one explains to me in detail what is wrong with this album.

Well, by the way, Cohen is one of those artists (who I've been listening to since elementary school, my father used to play him while I did my homework) who continuously risk monotony but never fall into it... and are captivating. I can't explain why. The fact is that even now I associate him with my studies; yesterday I was listening to his beautiful work done in tandem with Phil Spector, "Death Of A Ladies Man"... I will come back to it, I promise.

I deliberately didn't mention Tim Buckley because I hate, even when I have to criticize an artist, bringing up the usual phrases like "of course the father was a whole different thing" and so on... also because, fundamentally, father and son are definitely different universes. Leonard Cohen... but what does he have to do with it? He's not in the same "lineage" (if we want to define it that way, to simplify things) that I was talking about referring to Jeff Buckley. Hello, tiny little man.

PuntiniCazzetto, I don't know if you've ever listened to the albums I review.. but it's pointless to argue with you, you're crazy. "Stonce Cold Crazy" was the first cover ever performed by Metallica, and if that's not a cornerstone for you, fuck off.. go listen to Kiss.

For Easycure (thanks for raising the average a bit, even though no one can take away my first prize for the "worst rated" review on Debaser :), I respond with a sentence from Morrissey: "if you want your opinion to reach people, if you want others to pay attention to your message, you must be direct, emphatic. If you are against the use of fur and want to assert your position, no one will notice you if you whisper - I don’t think it’s right to use fur - but if you go out into the square to demonstrate, scream and forcibly tear the fur off the bourgeois ladies, then your ideas will have greater impact and visibility." And he said this as someone who in his songs incited to execute disc jockeys.

I don't know what to add except for the classic phrase "we perceive music in different ways."

Wonderful record, I was about to review it myself. "Fade Into You" is simply sublime.
