Pulp His 'n' Hers

Latest news: it seems that Jarvis Cocker will compose the music for the next episode of Harry Potter, and he will appear in a cameo in the film alongside Franz Ferdinand... well, in a way I can see that happening.
Tiziano Ferro 111

The point of Tiziano Ferro is that he is a despicable imitator of Craig David, somewhat like Zucchero is of Joe Cocker. It's just that Joe Cocker is Joe Cocker, and Craig David is Craig David (as much as I like Craig David).

Thank you for the compliments. Yes, the themes, the way of singing, and the different sounds of Baustelle owe a lot to this album and to "Different Class," but it must be acknowledged that at least they admit it. The Marlene Kuntz don’t say that many times they seem like a cover band of Sonic Youth...

However, now that I think about it... I really cared about that one about Mazzy Star... good thing it’s a nice review.

Kosmo, I was joking. It's alright if someone had the same idea as mine... don't take me too seriously! Regarding the many reviews all at once: it's true, lately I've been writing two a week, but there have been periods when I wrote one every two months.

Damn, you’re right.. I’m really from another planet compared to you... anyway, listen to whoever you want.
Avril Lavigne Under My Skin

Ugh, what a predictable vulgarity.. don't you understand that I review Lavigne because I can afford to do so? You listen to Bon Jovi, go fuck yourself!
The Cranberries To The Faithful Departed

Mediocre band, forgettable album.

I don't know if it makes much sense to write a review like this. It doesn't mean shit. For someone like Tiziano Ferro, you either write to soften the criticism or you ignore it. Obviously, the album (I listened to it in the car with my friends this Ferragosto) is what it is, that is, absolutely meaningless pop stuffed with electronic breaks of the "Z-list Neptunes" kind, but the character is not more annoying than many others (not more than an idiot like Menegazzi or Meneguzzi), indeed sometimes he’s almost likable. And sometimes some of his lyrics aren’t even that contemptible... for the rest, generally speaking, I’m close to your position.

You stole my review!! It's true that they're derivative, but The Music get a lot of comparisons to Madchester sounds.. they could be to Stone Roses and Happy Mondays what Oasis were to Beatles and Rolling Stones.. great album, almost all the tracks drive me crazy.
