Chevelle Hats Off To The Bull
Voto:
Honestly, I preferred Sci-Fi Crimes and Vena Sera, I don't know why but I struggled to digest this one.... They definitely managed to not sound like the previous ones while maintaining the power. "Same Old Trip" is killer, damn.
Brainiac Hissing Prigs In Static Couture

Can I give a 10 to THIS ALBUM?
Static-X Cult Of Static
Voto:
I didn't dislike Cult Of Static at all; I consider it better than Start A War and Shadow Zone, despite a repetitiveness that is an integral part of their production. Wayne could have reinvented himself with Pighammer, but he ended up with an album that is essentially skippable. Mr. Static has fallen in love, period.
Coal Chamber Coal Chamber

"King Kong on skate"...I've always liked this album, despite its obvious influences.
Cristina D'Avena Fivelandia 4
Voto:
Gentlemen, aside from everything, Fivelandia 4 is the best compilation of the series! I had all of them on cassette, zioccane. Then she rocks.

Furthermore, I wanted to add, it seems to me a strange crime that there are no other reviews on Failure in the Debaserian world! :)

I agree on everything, even though the best is yet to come a few years later... It's worth noting that Greg Edwards, here on bass, is now playing with Autolux, another very good band in my opinion. And Silverchair started pouring their hearts into it from Neon Ballroom onwards!
Mastodon The Hunter
Voto:
I quote the last sentence of Michoos What. Here, after 4 listens, I got the impression that it's not so much the songs or the "Mastodon-like" passages that are lacking, but rather a fundamental atmosphere. It may be that they've always conceived albums as concepts, and maybe we’re not used to hearing them in this guise. Perhaps it’s normal to lose a bit of edge after so many successes.
Pale Saints The Comforts Of Madness
Voto:
Beautiful review. I agree on everything regarding "The Comforts Of Madness"; in fact, it's one of the perfect albums for falling asleep even though it’s not exactly devoid of movement. "Time Thief" is a gem, along with "Language Of Flowers," carefree and bittersweet.
Dream Theater A Dramatic Turn Of Events

On the cover, only Mork, a Bugatti, and the Batman symbol are missing...
