I listened to it, the new one, but it didn't convince me. It all seems déjà vu. bye

great review; in my opinion a good album, maybe at times commercial but definitely better than the next one

Gabbox, we had the same idea about the influences of Booka Shade. Speaking of Morgan Geist and therefore Metro Area and their self-titled CD: a mid-price reissue has just been released (around 11 euros well spent).

A nice review for a decent album. A pleasant mélange of sounds ranging from techno to 80s vibes, immersed in electro house sauce. The influences of the current German electronic scene are all there, but the two Booka Shade appear to have also drawn inspiration from the works of Morgan Geist.

Great album, great review, so many memories. I always associate Little Fluffy Chords with other songs from that time (or thereabouts) like Sueno Latino, "Chime" by Orbital, "Pacific 202" by 808 State, and "Fruit of Love" by Transformer 2. I had them all on vinyl!

Trance doesn't catch me; I'm more tied to house music and its derivatives. He may be the best DJ in the world, but I prefer the dear old vinyl manipulators (and not just CDs, like Tiesto), such as Todd Terry, Knuckles, and the two Masters at Work. The review, however, is very valid. bye
