Odradek! I recommend "A Promise" to start with (I haven't listened to the latter "La Foret" yet). It's not their first one, but it's the one that made me discover and fall in love with them, so I can only say "A Promise"!

Well done?!? They may be mediocre, but whoever is hitting them over the head with bottles is much more mediocre than they are (I at least hope he drank the contents of the bottle first). I also think that Interpol don't copy Joy Division; sure, the influence is there, but there's a lot more in it.
