mmmm, I would say it could be interpreted in more than one way; I like to think of myself as "available" or "manageable" or "skilled with handiwork" :-)))))))).

Hey little cop, I have four: "Chapel of the Chimes" (which is actually an EP), "Knife Play," "A Promise," and "Fabulous Muscles." Which one are you missing? Beautiful "Sad Pony Guerrilla Girl" "you say I am loca because I am your girl/ you say I am stupid because I am your girl/ you leave me out on the steps you dress me up like a boy/ you say that I am your secret love/ you say to be quiet but I want to tell the whole world/ I like my neighborhood I like my gun/ drive in my little car I am your girl and I will protect you/ we do it in the back of my little car/ pull up my pants and fix my bra go on home to your kids/ I'm going to be quiet and

Prefacing that I can't be objective because I adore Xiu Xiu's music and thus every one of their albums is BEAUTIFUL to me (everyone has their obsessions, oh!); I say that: this Fabulous Muscles is perhaps the least challenging of all their work, a bit more electronic maybe, with fewer screams than usual - in fact, the only scream is one of the OH! from "I Love The Valley OH!" - perhaps because, as Jamie himself said, during the making of the album he often drove around listening to the car radio and thus was influenced by a bit of pop music. Well, in my opinion, these listens did him good; they helped to dilute the density and intensity that can be felt in his songs, which often tell tales of dreadful stories or absolute loves with a generosity and honesty that is almost bothersome, bordering on ridiculous and obsessive... For me, the favorite is also "I Love The Valley OH!" almost as beautiful as "A Promise" (which remains my absolute favorite; I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to it) and then "Clowne Towne" and "Little Panda McElroy," dedicated to the sweet Caralee McElroy, who accompanies him in live shows (who left the wizard and Josi_ enchanted with sighs). And I still have more to say... maybe tomorrow, it's late now.

The name of the group and the title remind me of an old album by Nick Heyward (80s Brit Pop) "Blue Hat For a Blue Day."
