Hi Enrico! Where have you been all this time?? Well, I’ve kind of been absent too, in fact, I hope to read a new review from you sooner or later. See you soon, and if you’re on vacation, enjoy your holidays!

As for personal tastes, I won’t comment because everyone rightly has their own, but "a fairy tale" is rather In Rock or Burn I would say.

sexyajax, what are you rambling about and who are you referring to??

Ah ok, then I assumed that your criticism was related to Dave's period with Eddie, which can only lead to a change in my judgment. I have had the chance to appreciate this album anyway, of course not like 1984, but that is strictly tied to subjective taste! Sorry if I partially misunderstood your thought; I give you a 2.5 as a know-it-all, but to raise your average I’ll give you a 3 (I’m being overly generous!) goodbye, see you next time!

I agree too, after Blackmore left, Deep Purple are no longer what they used to be; in fact, the last true hit is precisely The Battles Rages On.
Black Sabbath Headless Cross

I liked this album quite a bit back then, though for me the true Black Sabbath are with Dio on vocals, making a proper exception for the magnificent "Seventh Star" featuring The Voice of Rock Glenn Hughes! To each their own, of course, as my friend Fidia says!!

Here's another review on Dream Theater; I think everything and more has been said about this band (both good and bad). Try something a bit more original; sometimes it pays off!

I completely disagree with your judgment; for me, the covers turned out really well, and Van Halen did great things with Diamond Dave during those years. Many bands have released "useless tracks," but not these Van Halen. I'm sorry, but I really don't like this review; it's nothing personal, just a matter of perspective!

Of course! You would recognize Malmsteen among dozens and dozens of guitarists; his style and sound are unmistakable. After all, he was the one who started this genre, at least with such virtuosity! It's a shame he no longer has the inspiration of yesteryear. In the end, even though many may not see it this way, I firmly believe that he was very inspired in the beginning and therefore a true modern composer with a unique talent. However, he hasn't had the mindset to manage it well over the years; that's the real problem!

Sure, you can find the imitators wherever you want; they pop up like mushrooms!
