Scorpions Blackout
Voto:
I don't agree that it's the best album by the Scorpions overall; it's certainly the best since Uli Jon Roth left the band. Honestly, Fly To The Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer, and Taken By Force have much greater value for me, even though the genre is absolutely different. I loved the Scorpions of the 70s a lot more, while I liked those of the 80s much less, but I do acknowledge that Black Out remains a great work within the genre. Good review.

there is no anonymous comparison, not to mention it would be somewhat bizarre to make one

If this is the great music you listen to, I'd rather "waste time" listening to Vai, Satriani, and Malmsteen, de gustibus cretinalbo88

Well, I have no reason to be happy; on the other hand, we should be talking about music and not about who’s a fool or not (a discussion I certainly didn’t start), but I guess you’re still at a pseudo-adolescent age, and at 17-18 years old, a lot of nonsense is said and done. Then, thankfully, we grow up, and maybe we start making a few more constructive comments. You’ll see, little by little, you’ll get there too, or at least I hope so!

Well, Gilbert and Satriani are great musicians, but they don't have compositions like those of Vai, who is definitely superior in this regard. If you listen to a Tender Surrender, a Christmas time is here, a Sisters, a For the love of God, you realize that it goes well beyond just "technique, speed."

Blackmore will remain the greatest electric guitarist after Hendrix. Today, he may be appreciated a bit less due to a music that, while captivating, is somewhat distant from his, but surely his pieces, the songs he penned with the great Deep Purple and Rainbow, will retain their charm even many years from now. Many guitarists will come and go in the meantime, but Ritchie will always be remembered, because he made rock history and because even today, in his genre, he remains number 1.
