already amazing! I see it like you do, bending is anything but taken for granted, apart from Malmsteen, look at Blackmore, his is an art in doing them!

Oh Oh Marco... I think a new thrilling discussion is about to begin here... well, the Oscar Wilde rule will apply: everything is fine "as long as they talk about it"!!

Sure Momo, you’re as sharp as ever in your judgments. Honestly, I don’t recall any bending mistakes from Malmsteen; I think it’s one of his stronger points (but to err is human, and it must have happened to him too). Certainly, Hendrix or Page may have been more flawed since they didn’t make technique (in its purest sense) their strong suit, but a Cooley, aside from being as fast as lightning (but it’s not clear where??), doesn’t know how to play, while Vai, Satriani, and even Malmsteen when he puts in the effort, are capable of giving much more, beyond bending, sweeping, legato, and various techniques which, if they don't fit into a larger harmony called musical composition, now serve only to amaze a dwindling audience!

I gladly accept your judgment, which is also an encouragement to do even better! To tell the truth, I think that the review of Uli Roth that is about to come out is really special, but I leave it to you, the public, to judge; just know that I put my heart into it!! See you soon and thank you a thousand times again!

You hit the nail on the head, but I left a comment on your review of Hey Stupid, that album is truly great and with a very fit Satriani! I’m sure sooner or later someone will definitely notice you!

I turned 29 years old today, and I think he is a little younger than me by a few years. I love this site precisely because it helps me improve and expand my musical horizons; you always learn something beautiful from the constructive experiences of others! Thanks again for the compliments, and if you’d like, leave a comment on the Alcatrazz review too!

No no, Uli Roth is alive and playing great. In '98 he even performed at G3 with Satriani and M. Shenker! The problem is that many have forgotten about him, but among more attentive critics, he is considered perhaps the best disciple of Hendrix!

Thank you very much, The Bluesman, for the compliment, but I don't know if I measure up to him. I'm trying to have a personal style and give my best, but Enrico's reviews are truly on par with journalistic ones, detailed and thorough. I still have a bit of a journey to make, but if there were a similar project, I would gladly join, because I love to write and I love music!

Yes, I am deeply convinced of that too! So I hope you can be one of the first commenters on this review of mine that should be published soon! I'm counting on you, see you soon!

Hi Enrico, it's jet, thank you for your comment, it was my first review, perhaps you were too encouraging and kind in your judgment, but I’m really happy you liked it! Very soon, my review of a fantastic guitarist, unfortunately forgotten by many: Uli Jon Roth (from the 70s Scorpions), should be released, I hope it can help remind people of him more! See you soon and again many congratulations on the review!
