Whitesnake Live - In The Still Of The Night

Great job Enrico! A truly well-crafted review from every point of view. I haven't listened to the DVD album yet, but I'll rush to buy it; it seems to be worth it! Bye and see you soon.

I honestly prefer "Gli Spari Sopra" and "Liberi Liberi," but you did an excellent review, and the album in question is the last noteworthy one from Blasco. Since Andrea Braido is no longer around, it's noticeable; the music has significantly declined, and so has the guitar!
Alex Masi In The Name Of Mozart

sure you can, everything is possible in life, but I reiterate what I wrote to you, it’s like saying that Satriani sucks and then praising Dave Sharman. Now, there’s no doubt that this latter knows how to play the guitar, but that he copies Satriani for ideas and technique is equally evident, so the disdain for the former and the uncritical glorification of the latter is, in itself, a contradiction in terms. The exact same situation applies to the Malmsteen - Masi comparison and the exact same conclusions; your reasoning, if we can even call it that, is absolutely incoherent and illogical, therefore RIDICULOUS!!

It would be like saying that Satriani is one of the worst examples of modern music and then giving 5 stars to an album by Dave Sharman; it's exactly the same thing and, frankly, it's rather ridiculous, not to mention bizarre.

Exactly, but this thought of yours, associated with this review of a humble epigone of Malmsteen, demonstrates an absolute lack of coherence, that's all.
Jason Becker Perpetual Burn
Voto:
This is a fantastic guitarist and the album showcases his extraordinary abilities. Unlike so many useless clones of Malmsteen, Becker had a brilliant personality and genuine talent, not fabricated. Kudos for the choice of the album; I would have liked to review it myself, but I must acknowledge that you did an excellent job! It's a shame that Jason didn't have the chance to continue expressing his love for the guitar and all the artistic evolutions that, with maturity, would certainly have emerged—truly a pity.

What an honor it is to have received 5 out of 5 in the review from Mr. Malmsteen himself; it’s the best Easter gift I could have received! I extend my best regards and pay my respects!!!
Steve Vai Alien Love Secret
Voto:
I know Vai very well, since the days of Alcatrazz; he is an artist I admire a lot. This work has exceptional moments and others that are less bright; overall, I was satisfied 50 percent, but just a Tender Surrender or a Juicy is enough to show that Steve is a true Alien on earth!!

Emanuele, excuse me, but you criticize Malmsteen and then praise Masi????!!!! Everyone knows that Masi took extensive inspiration from Malmsteen in his albums; frankly, you're showing a severe lack of consistency. Honestly, Masi is among the clones (because unfortunately, he is a clone, I’m sorry to disillusion you), and technically, he’s one of the least impressive; I honestly don’t see whom his solos should make envious, there are many who play much better than him, without needing to call Malmsteen into question. I'm really sorry, but Mr. Salsiccia, as you call him, eats him for breakfast, in one bite, digesting him delightfully!
