Yes, my main point of reference is indeed that; if you consider how the AOR genre has deteriorated these days and more generally over the years, I think this work should be regarded as high quality. Of course, there's no doubt that Journey expressed their best in the late '70s and then in the '80s! I see that they remain a group for a select few; many don’t even know who they are, and that’s unsettling (at least from my humble point of view!).

I completely missed this absurd comparison; at most you can do it (with the due precautions) with Frank Sinatra, but not with Mozart, come on!
Allan Holdsworth Metal Fatigue

A guitarist with truly remarkable style and technique, his legato playing is impressive! However, I agree with ajeje’s opinion; his playing is better than his compositions, which is probably his biggest limitation! Ah, he is also highly regarded by Yngwie Malmsteen and given his well-known polemical streak with guitarists, this should make one reflect on Holdsworth's skill.

What scoundrels, solidarity can only be total in this case, and I hope they are identified and prosecuted for this; certain crimes cannot go unpunished. I also hope they compensate you for the damages you have suffered.

If we're talking gossip, then it seems to me that Doogie White was a footballer before starting his singing career... I think Ritchie might have met him on the football fields too, what a strange coincidence don’t you think?!

the Gospel according to Maccio!! But who can ally with someone who doesn't want to find a way to dialogue with anyone? I don’t know who the followers are, even if some hotheads are quite pleased on this most noble site (which, I must say, is undergoing a few too many changes for my tastes!!!), perhaps he can rely on some of them, but certainly the project is absolutely clear in its schizophrenia: targeting certain reviewers—like you, me, god (Ronnie James, of course!) and others—to show that he is great and we are certified fools, but the problem is that in doing so he isolates himself more and more, though perhaps MR SUPREME INTELLIGENCE hasn’t quite understood that!! Ah, I read some comments about the IMMENSE MASTERPIECE of OUR MASTER The Hippos, and frankly, it makes my arms drop; he denies even the obvious and has chosen an album that is bland at best, but aside from that, at least he can write in Italian, and that's a tiny point in his favor!

I agree with you, savopardo, and I had no doubts about your admiration for Blackmore; we've discussed it often, and I must say, quite willingly! I'm only slightly at odds with you regarding the value of Stormbringer, which, albeit in a different way, I don't believe is qualitatively inferior to Burn, but this is, of course, my personal judgment!

for roby86: he didn't say that Innuendo is from the 80s, but that it's the best since the 80s, in fact it's also written that it was released in 1991! For many, it's the last album by Queen and I associate myself with this line of thought, although I don't hide the fact that I have listened to and appreciated Made in Heaven as well, albeit in a different way. The review is good, just a few small typos, but for a first attempt, I believe it deserves praise! The album is extraordinary.

Well, Blackmore has also launched Coverdale and Hughes, as well as Dio, Bonnet, Turner, Doogie White, and Candice Night!!

Ah, I didn't know that! Yes, anyway, opinions are always subjective, there's no doubt about that!
