I don't really agree with the sleepless friend either; it’s hard to believe that a Squier is the same as a Stratocaster. Maybe the price difference is exaggerated, that’s true, but a quality product also has quality components that, unfortunately, you have to pay for. This applies to cars as well, for example! Of course, as a first guitar, an affordable Squier is just fine, but I believe this latest, more expensive "affinity fender" model is qualitatively better and it falls within a price range of 220-260 euros, so it’s still very advantageous. However, Fender remains unique and on another planet; the advice from mista regarding the Highway models is great too!

It's very true, and it's almost a paradox that the very reviewer, macciocapatonda, ends up, by the twists of life, in Serie B and, as far as I can see, insulted from all sides. But it's also a paradox that our comments, while rightly critical, are among the most lenient and calm ones. Well, we, dear MASTER, are not accustomed to using your strategies for dialogue; we prefer dialectics, sometimes even heated but constructive. You, on the other hand, always prefer provocation, no matter what. But then, my friend, these are the results: "whoever is the cause of their own misfortune must weep for themselves." Ahhhhh...

No, in fact, that only matters on an aesthetic level!

I know, however, that a Squire model has come out called "affinity stratocaster." It costs more (but still significantly less than a Strat), but maybe that one is a qualitatively better model compared to the base Squire model.

Dearest MASTER, what an honor! After targeting so many reviewers, including myself, and even more Vinsex and others through the adept/double generation x, I am pleased to note that you are also dedicating yourself to reviews; how strange, I thought you preferred the art of provocation. But perhaps you've grown tired of always repeating the same behaviors, only to achieve what, you'll know best, probably your designs are inscrutable! Anyway, you've chosen a decent work by Vasco Rossi, but certainly not one of his best; it’s not even close to the level of Liberi Liberi or Gli Spari Sopra. Your way of writing makes me think you possess a certain intelligence, but as Goya said, "the sleep of reason breeds monsters."

Honestly, I've never tried a Squire; however, I've played a Fender Stratocaster, and the quality level is extremely high. I doubt that the little sister can offer similar performance. I've heard about various issues with the Squire regarding the tremolo, the pickups, the finish, and how easily it can go out of tune. But since I've never tried one, I can't judge. The price is definitely very appealing; you can buy it new for 130-150 euros. But whether it's a good deal can only be said by someone who owns it!
John Petrucci Suspended Animation
Voto:
I didn't quite understand if you're referring to me, Cesare, but I have never questioned Petrucci's technical skills. I simply think that compared to a Vai, Malmsteen, or Vinnie Moore, he is inferior and much more schematic. Point two, yes, Petrucci went to the G3, but I wouldn't make that a point of pride because he didn't live up to his renowned name, and I’ll add that his performance with Petrucci will be remembered as the worst G3 ever seen, and believe me, many people think so! Point three, I believe there is still freedom of expression, so questioning Petrucci's abilities is not a matter serious enough to warrant the censorship of a review. Point four, to conclude, this review is fundamentally well done; I just don’t agree— and I have already extensively explained— that Suspended Animation will have the same importance over time as Rising Force or Passion and Warfare. I believe it's a good guitar work, but in ten to twenty years, it will likely not be a topic of discussion anymore. Just my opinion!
