beautiful, different from your style but sharp at just the right point...
Jeff Buckley Grace

great record, good review come on......
Incubus Light Grenades
Voto:
I've always liked Incubus a lot, but their creative dryness has become more and more evident... "crow.." was really weak. The fact that they've never had a personality. In the beginning, they were experimental but clearly drew inspiration from FNM, then they started drifting into that beach vibe, capitalizing on the charm of that hot guy Brandon... what a shame.
Mayo Thompson Corky's Debt To His Father

Congratulations Lewis, everything is very beautiful...
Edith Piaf The Voice Of The Sparrow: The Very Best Of Edith Piaf
Voto:
Everything is very beautiful: reading the historical context and the way you intertwined the life of Edith and her stories feels like truly taking a journey through time,..........you did well to mention mon légionnaire, which then became a classic of gay culture in Gainsbourg's version...but this cannot be written, given the rampant homophobia of certain users.
Gene Clark White Light

One of the most beautiful covers ever; dreamy, just like the review.
Soft Cell The Art Of Falling Apart
Voto:
I also adore Soft Cell, maybe I’m a lesbian and I don’t know it yet? I’ve never really listened to this one closely, it’s actually a bit too heavy and clashes with the freshness of "Non-Stop"... instead, I really appreciate "Cruelty Without Beauty" which is a bit like the cabaret 20 years later...

beautiful review as always mariaelena......of this album I particularly love Young's piano ballad, one of his best works by far...and your metaphor about the stairs is beautiful. Well done!
Deconstruction Deconstruction

sumptuous review, even though I must say that I always heard terrible things about this project... as some rarefied and hedonistic outpouring... but your review has truly piqued my curiosity
XTC Drums And Wires
