Frank Zappa The Yellow Shark
Voto:
The album is beautiful, but the review is full of inadequate and incorrect statements. In fact, the pieces in "The Yellow Shark" are only partially old compositions for orchestra, and many appear here for the first time. You highlight how the tracks Dog Breath Variations and Uncle Meat are more accessible, yet you don’t mention that they are merely rearrangements of old non-orchestral pieces (which, by the way, Zappa didn’t even arrange himself). Your favorite track from the album is G-Spot Tornado, which is another arrangement of old pieces (from Jazz From Hell). On the other hand, you very briefly mention the other compositions, only citing Questi Cazzi Di Piccioni. Then you said that Hot Rats and Joe's Garage are part of the same "silly" Frank Zappa, which I believe is very wrong considering the gap between the releases of the two albums (10 years apart!). Anyway, the review isn’t bad, and I understand that it’s not that easy to talk about Frank as a classical composer.

One of my favorites from the first Tom Waits, along with Small Change (actually, almost all of Tom's albums are my favorites, but that's another story...)
Beautiful San Diego Serenade, as are all the other tracks.

What kind of people are you? The review is very well done. I just hope that Luca uses some lesser-known groups or artists (and thus less reviewed) for his next one. For the rest, I give him my compliments because the review is truly enjoyable to read.
