Mudhoney Under A Billion Suns
Voto:
Nice record, but not grunge at all... for this, you get a nice 1.
This new effort from Mudhoney is very garage, not grunge at all... it really shows the Stooges' influences (can we say that?!?!), just look at the brass sections.
On Saturday the 20th, I'm going to see them... yeah!!!

Good review, but I give you 3 for your judgments that I don’t share:
1) Load, in retrospect, is a great album; it has nothing to do with metal, but it’s really well made and I consider it one of the best of the 90s.
2) I don’t see Garage Inc as a commercial operation, but as a desire to show fans the band’s roots... and it also contains two gems like "Sabbra Cadabra" and "Stone Cold Crazy."

Pitiful!
The Lacuna are dead with "Unleashed Memories"

@Black Light: the review I wrote for my webzine is quite long too, perhaps because I already know the album I didn’t have the patience to get through yours ;) Anyway, it’s true, Materia is so beautiful that you can’t write less than what you’ve done ; )

Wonderful album (I put it as album of the month on my webzine), but the review feels more like a thesis... a slightly shorter one wouldn't have hurt!
Marilyn Manson Smells Like Children

I love Manson, but this album sucks! Luckily I paid 10, 15 thousand lire back then (I must have them all original...)

Well-written review.
I won't give five stars because it's a bit too lengthy in my opinion ;)
I'll listen to the album... even though reading your review makes it seem like I'm not missing out on much after all.

I'm interviewing Kevin Moore tonight.. ahuahuhaha
As for the rest, the review sucks and the Dt are a bunch of chronic constipated people. period.

I'm still waiting for the promo from Century Media...
But did you write the review based solely on listening to "Our Truth"??? That's the impression I get...
Anyway, Lacuna were better before their success... give Unleashed Memories another listen...

"an unforgivably forgotten band even by the so-called experts in the field"
Enrico are you kidding? (sorry if I’m being informal!). I Novembre are perhaps the only band unanimously loved by industry experts...
